Young Vanderlande was created to support the young professionals working at Vanderlande with expanding their network and encouraging personal development. To achieve this, the Board of Young Vanderlande regularly organises activities such as workshops, business games, case evenings and company visits. On 28 June 2018, the Vanderlande Board visited We.-Escape in Eindhoven, a collaboration between TheTrueTalentTeam and Escaperoom Eindhoven that aims at turning a group dynamic into something transparent and discussable.

“It was an enjoyable experience. We were able to reflect on each other’s behaviour thanks to video footage that showed behavioural forms of ourselves and the other team members. As a group, we gained more insight into how the group dynamic works, so we can now focus on that. The We.-scan allowed us to clearly see where our strengths and weaknesses lie as a team. We noticed that, as a team, we wanted to talk through every little detail before taking action.”

“Because we discussed the individual Me.-scan of each of the team members collectively, we now have a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each person in our team. The next step is to give each other the freedom and support required to develop further. We definitely recommend playing the escape room in combination with the We.-scan, as it provides a clear insight into the team of which you are part. We also recommend taking the individual Me.-scan. It is extraordinary to see how much information you get from a very short scan that actually gives you a handle to develop yourself further.”
